Job Summary
Welcome guests, recommend food and drink, and tailor each experience to their unique tastes while keeping service on-track and up to standard. Manage kitchen supplies and equipment to minimize waste, reporting any unsafe gear, low stock, or safety incidents to supervisors immediately. Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards, assist with washing up and ad-hoc kitchen duties, and provide guests with helpful queries and advice. Work flexible night, weekend, and holiday shifts while lifting objects up to 50lbs and adhering to local food handling and alcohol serving laws. Wear your uniform with pride and communicate warmly to create memorable meals for every guest.
Required Qualifications
- Strong – sometimes you'll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling.
- Literate – you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths.
- Flexible – night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
- Compliant – as well as meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, you'll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language.
- Articulate – a great communicator, you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to.
