Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, serve meals and beverages, and prepare itemized checks while accepting payments. Escort guests to tables, set up and clear dining areas, and operate the cash register. Verify patron identification to ensure compliance with alcohol age requirements. Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional service standard for all guests. Clear and reset tables as needed, keep stations stocked and tidy, and operate the point-of-sale system. Perform opening and closing procedures, including cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork, according to station rotation assignments. Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to support safe, efficient operations.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
