Job Summary
As a Server for events, you will provide exceptional guest service, take and deliver food and beverage orders, seat and greet guests, accommodate dietary requests, coordinate with event planners, chefs, bartenders, and kitchen staff, and help with setup, service, and post-event cleanup. The role emphasizes high-volume service, accurate order delivery, proactive guest assistance, teamwork, safety, and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor throughout varying event environments. The position is part-time with hours based on event schedules, requires standing and lifting, and offers $18 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Preferred: One (1) year experience as a high-volume server or relevant experience
- Preferred: ServeSafe Certification or TIPS Certification
- Schedule: Part time, Flexibility to work hours needed based on event schedules
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour
- Environment: Varying temperature controlled environments
- Skills: Physical abilities up to 35 – 45lbs; standing and long shifts; strong communication; organizational; team-based environment
