Job Summary
Serve customers in a fast-paced restaurant, ensuring tables are clean and tidy, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages. Engage with guests to assess needs, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items and beverages. Collaborate with fellow servers and kitchen/bar staff, handle complaints positively, verify legal drinking age when necessary, and process payments. Maintain high standards of sanitation and customer service, leveraging cash-handling and basic computer/POS duties, with a focus on delivering a high-quality dining experience and encouraging repeat business.
Required Qualifications
- Tip pool or shared tipping with other employees
- Computer literacy
- Cashier duties experience
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- TABC Certified and Food Handler Certified
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
