Server- Block T Bar & Grill

The Server at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center provides table service to restaurant patrons by taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus and daily specials, answering questions, taking and delivering orders, ensuring proper food preparation, clearing tables, preparing checks, collecting payments, and assisting with dining-area tasks. Requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to work with POS systems, and knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine pairings. Must be at least 18, have a High School diploma or equivalent, and obtain Texas food handling and TABC certifications. Prior server experience (2+ years) preferred. Part-time status with varied days/hours, including game days and high-occupancy events. Compensation starts at $3.60/hr plus tips; extensive benefits and tuition reimbursement are highlighted. Flexibility to work during peak hospitality periods and ability to stand/walk for extended times are expected.
