Job Summary
Welcome and greet guests within 30 seconds, introduce yourself, and inform them of specials and menu changes. Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the micros system, and deliver items to guests in a timely manner. Anticipate guest needs such as napkins and drink refills, maintain clean service areas, and monitor dining experiences to ensure satisfaction. Prepare final bills, process payments, and assist fellow servers or the bus person as needed. Build regulars and thank guests for their visit. Requires at least one year of service experience, basic math skills, and the ability to stand for up to five hours while lifting trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of service experience
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a micros system
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds
