Job Summary
Greet tables with a friendly, professional manner and ensure guests receive top-notch dining experiences while managing drinks and food orders. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to sell alcohol and food items, entering orders through the Toast POS system and handling various payment types. Maintain complete knowledge of the menu, prepare tables with strict attention to sanitation, and clear and reset stations efficiently. Check guest identification for alcohol service and refuse service politely to those under legal age. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends while maintaining a neat uniform and well-groomed appearance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass the Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better
- State alcohol server license
- Food handler's card
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to count change
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Multi-task oriented
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to make suggestions regarding food and beverage items
- Minimum age requirement of 19 years old
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be available for days, evenings, and weekends
