Job Summary
Cleans dining rooms, sets tables, and prepares drink stations and salad bars according to department policies. Takes resident meal orders, fills drinks, and serves food using a pleasant, patient voice and attitude. Maintains clean tables, chairs, floors, equipment, and dishes while stocking supplies as requested. Assists residents to the dining room, ensuring everyone receives a meal. Delivers room trays and upholds confidentiality of resident information. Maintains a professional appearance and demonstrates compassion for elderly and disabled residents. Works independently and as a team with appropriate health certifications. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of hazardous material safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must show compassion and genuinely care for the elderly and disabled
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Have appropriate health certifications as required by local, state and federal health departments
- Must possess education that provides skills to read and comprehend simple procedures
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and handle bulky objects
- Must be able to handle object up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be knowledgeable of the location of the MSDS sheets on hazardous materials and able to understand the guidelines
- Must demonstrate a SERVANT heart and attitude by following our Mission Statement
