Server

The Server provides food and beverages to residents under Benchmark Dining Services policies, communicating with the supervisor and kitchen staff to ensure meals are served promptly, attractively, and to residents’ satisfaction. Responsibilities include setting up and delivering meal trays, assisting residents with meal selection, inventorying and replenishing dining room supplies, setting up dining areas for the next meal, and adhering to infection control and safety procedures. The role requires following written and oral instructions, interacting effectively with residents and staff, and maintaining clean and safe food service areas. Performs general server duties, aids in inventory and waste disposal, and reports hazards or accidents as directed. Prior dining room and server experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are required. This position is non-exempt and hourly, located in White River Junction, VT (two listed entries), with in-person work arrangements.
