Job Summary
Serve patrons in restaurant and dining areas by taking, preparing, and delivering drink and food orders while entering orders, verifying accuracy, and collecting payment. Clear tables, maintain dining area cleanliness, and assist the chef with food preparation as needed. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using proper measures, check identification for legal drinking age, and process credit card charges. Keep the bar stocked and clean, arrange bottles and glasses for efficiency, and prepare garnishes and snacks. Communicate low stock items to management and report equipment problems. Adhere to Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and policy. Maintain professional appearance and demeanor per club dress code.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age by time of hire
- Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Good oral communication skills
- Can compute simple math and count change accurately
- Able to obtain a food handler's permit or certification
- Has the ability to calculate and complete liquid measurements
- Ability to do simple math and count change accurately
- Certified Food Handler (rserving.com or local certification)
- Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco training and/or certificate
- Must be of legal age to pour alcohol per state requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required
- Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Adheres to club dress code always
- Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adheres to the Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service policy
- Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 50-100%
- Standing and walking 50-75%
- Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0-24%
- Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 0-25%
- Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0-24%
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service/bartending preferred
