Job Summary
Conduct guest service by taking orders, answering menu questions, and communicating with kitchen staff via the POS. Ensure table cleanliness, anticipate guest needs, and manage cash handling for all table checks with accurate change. Set up and maintain dining sections while multitasking across multiple tables during a fast-paced shift lasting 4 to 10 hours. Lift boxes up to 25lbs and work in varying temperatures from refrigeration to cooking areas. Perform post-shift side work as assigned and assist team members to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years prior server restaurant experience
- Ability to lead and train others
- Ability to lift boxes occasionally up to 25lbs
- Ability to work in various temperature environments
- Ability to exert a fast paced mobility throughout shift between 4 and 10 hours in length
- Team player mindset
- Menu knowledge
- Ability to describe all food, drink, and special menu items
- Ability to anticipate guest's needs prior to them asking
- Ability to multi-task and be aware of several tables progression through the dining experience
- Ability to communicate orders with the kitchen staff
- Ability to close out of all table checks in an orderly and timely fashion
- Ability to provide the guest with accurate and complete change
- Ability to provide a sincere Thank You and invitation to return
