Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and setting up or clearing them. Check patron identification to ensure compliance with alcohol age requirements and maintain a courteous, efficient service standard. Operate the P.O.S. system, perform cashiering functions for closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork, and execute opening/closing procedures per station rotation. Keep tables and side stands stocked, tidy, and clean, ensuring all operations align with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
