Job Summary
Greet guests, take and serve food and beverage orders, and process payments using the Point-of-Sales system. Communicate with team members to ensure timely service and verify guest identification for alcohol service. Maintain clean dining areas, follow safe food handling practices, and perform opening and closing duties. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to additional requests while adhering to workplace safety standards. Obtain alcohol awareness certification and meet state minimum age requirements for serving beverages.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
- Must be able to obtain alcohol awareness certification
- Ability to focus on providing a superior guest experience in an enthusiastic and professional manner
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate information individually and in small group situations
- Ability to understand the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to apply reasonable understanding in carrying out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Must be able to visually navigate through the unit
- Must be able to lift and carry 0-40 lbs.
- Must be able to reach, grasp, push and pull 0-40 lb.
- Must be able to stoop and bend
