Job Summary
Set up dining rooms with linens, glassware, and flatware before service, then deliver and clear food courses while maintaining water and beverage service. Mark tables appropriately for each course, reset and flip tables post-departure with speed and attention to detail, and break down the dining room by polishing, organizing, and restocking tools. Support Lead Servers and Captains by responding quickly to guest requests, ensuring seamless execution of service in a Michelin-starred and Forbes 5-star environment. Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior guest areas, manage service stations, and work Thursday through Sunday evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in serving in casual, upscale restaurants OR 2+ years experience as a back waiter in a Forbes 5-star or Michelin restaurants
- Ability to work full-time (30-35 hours per week) and late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, solution-oriented mindset, and attention to detail are essential
- Valid Food Handler's Card
- Clear and calm verbal communication
- Solution-oriented, skilled at proactively identifying service challenges and supporting servers to ensure flawless fine dining experiences
- Ability to work quickly in a high-paced, physically and mentally demanding environment
- Must comply with all uniform and grooming standards, including wearing an approved, clean, and well-maintained uniform and maintaining a neat, professional appearance and cleanliness about their person
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Ability to work late nights
