Job Summary
Clear dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware; sanitize and reset tables for new guests. Deliver food and beverages, refill drinks, and provide bread or condiments. Greet guests, assist with seating, and respond to requests professionally. Restock inventory of napkins, linen, silverware, plates, cutlery, and table condiments. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness. Move tables and chairs to accommodate customers as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Work an 8-hour shift in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays. Located on the Cowlitz Reservation in Ridgefield, Washington, ilani is the Pacific Northwest's premier gaming, dining, and entertainment destination.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
- excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year previous experience as a server, or server assistant in a full-service restaurant environment
