Job Summary
Prepare dining room mise en place, reset tables, and assist servers with food, beverage, and guest requests while maintaining impeccable presentation standards. Anticipate guest needs, address routine requests, and coordinate timely service between dining and culinary teams. Clean, polish, and store glassware and service equipment; maintain organization of dining areas, storage spaces, and back-of-house workspaces. Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergy protocols; report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly. Collaborate with leadership, culinary, and stewarding staff to support banquet functions and special events. Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, standing and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a restaurant, luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment preferred
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a professional, polished, and team-oriented approach
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible food handling practices
- Ability to maintain attention to detail while anticipating guest and operational needs
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to safely transport trays, dining equipment, and supplies while working in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Use utilities and resources responsibly to support sustainability goals
- Communicate effectively within the department and across hotel operations
- Comply with all Health & Safety procedures and report incidents immediately
- Attend training and complete eLearning modules as required
