Job Summary
Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course, assist dining room waiters in food and beverage service, and serve guests as directed. Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station, remove solid linens, replace them with clean linens, and polish silver and glass as needed. Keep menus clean, maintain menu knowledge, and deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently while displaying clear communication with kitchen and front of house staff. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice. The role requires pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs on a weekly basis, with regular travel by foot, waiting, and standing for long and short periods. Previous experience within food and beverage is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise
- Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a professionalism & collaboration
- Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice
- Push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs on a weekly basis
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to travel by foot, waiting and standing for long and short periods of time
