Job Summary
Assist servers in a Cincinnati restaurant by stocking stations, clearing tables, and serving beverages and bread to begin dining experiences. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area, and perform general cleaning tasks to meet health standards. Attend pre-shift meetings, participate in training, and respond to guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction with a friendly, professional demeanor. Requires knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and basic menu/wine familiarity; ability to work as part of a team in an environment with 8–10 hour shifts; ability to stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk 8 to 10 hour shifts
- Ability to lift and carry large trays weighing up to 30 pounds
- English language sufficient to understand menus, communicate with guests and record orders
