Job Summary
Prepare dining and back-of-house areas for service, welcome guests, and assist servers with their needs. Reset tables, clear dishes, run food, and maintain proper table setups and storage in both front and back of house. Monitor guest requirements throughout all phases of operation while ensuring all areas remain clean and immaculate. Maintain complete knowledge of the menu, beverage offerings, daily activities, house counts, and operational hours. Perform daily prep work and adapt to a fast-paced environment while upholding resort policies and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcohol
- Must be willing to learn and be fast on their feet
- Must be punctual
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must possess good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to lift minimum weight of 35 lbs. across short-medium distances
- Must be able to stand for the entirety of shift while reaching, bending and stooping as needed
- Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry trays / ovals
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, intense work environment, sometimes under extreme heat and stress, and must be able to remain calm
