Job Summary
Aid servers in prompt delivery and removal of food and beverage items while maintaining a hospitable, cordial demeanor toward guests and coworkers. Clean used dishes and glassware from tables to the galley, scrape and stack dirty items, and carry tableware for cleaning. Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and service stations, then set up and break down dining rooms as prescribed. Provide guests with menu descriptions, order of service, entertainment options, and cruise route information. Assist with warm greetings and seating upon arrival. Perform additional duties as assigned, including extended periods without sitting and lifting heavy items. Work nights, weekends, and major holidays. Requires high school diploma, minimum state age, and previous restaurant experience preferred.
