Job Summary
Set and maintain tables with proper utensils, glassware, and condiments while clearing and resetting surfaces promptly. Greet guests, deliver food accurately, and announce dishes upon arrival, verifying presentation before service. Monitor ticket times, coordinate table turnover with kitchen and server staff, and replenish supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, expo stations, and work zones, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Notify supervisors of product shortages and assist with beverage service, including keg changes and water refills.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current Food Handlers card
- Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English
- Must have effective communication skills
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work under variable temperature conditions
- Must have a working knowledge of draft beer systems and how to properly change a keg
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- High School Diploma or GED recommended
- Some College experience or Degree recommended
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Previous food running, busser, server assistant experience in a professional setting is preferred
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated individual
- Strong work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional service
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
