Job Summary
Set and maintain tables with proper utensils, glassware, and condiments, then clear and reset tables promptly by removing used dishes and replenishing supplies. Interact with guests courteously to address inquiries, deliver food accurately while announcing dishes, and verify food presentation before delivery. Monitor ticket times to ensure efficient kitchen flow, assist with beverage service, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas, expo stations, and work surfaces. Communicate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability. Notify supervisors of shortages and adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current Food Handlers card
- Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English
- Must have effective communication skills
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work under variable temperature conditions
- Must have a working knowledge of draft beer systems and how to properly change a keg
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- High School Diploma or GED recommended
- Some College experience or Degree recommended
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Previous food running, busser, server assistant experience in a professional setting is preferred
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated individual
- Strong work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional service
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
