Job Summary
Assist servers, restock dining and service areas, clear and reset tables, and complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets in an assigned restaurant at Hershey Lodge. Pour coffee and water, ensure condiments are supplied, tray food orders to correct tables, and forward guest concerns to supervisors. Work on feet for long periods, stoop, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds in a clean, efficient manner. Schedule includes flexible shifts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with evening and weekend hours based on union seniority. This union position offers free admission and parking to Hersheypark, plus discounts on food and shopping.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Must demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner
- Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and staff
- Must present a clean and professional image
- Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to stoop, bend, push and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work flexible shifts including breakfast, lunch and dinner meal periods, according to operational needs
- Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours
