Job Summary
Greet guests professionally, anticipate their needs, and serve food and beverages with detailed menu knowledge. Retrieve food from the kitchen, transport it to tables, and forward guest concerns to supervisors. Break down, clean, and set up dining areas, buffets, and food stations while stocking linen, china, silver, and glassware. Restock dining and service areas to ensure condiments are supplied before guests arrive. Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining a neat and orderly environment. This part-time role at The Hotel Hershey requires at least 16 hours per week and offers free admission and parking to Hersheypark.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Must display a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
- Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests
- Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments
- Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week
- Must be able to meet schedule requirements, which will most likely require working flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands
- Lifting Frequent (34%-66%): Up to 50 lbs
