Job Summary
Greet guests professionally, anticipate their needs, and serve food and beverages with detailed knowledge of menu items and preparation methods. Retrieve food from the kitchen, transport it to guests, and remove items from tables while maintaining a neat and orderly dining room and guest service area. Break down, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations; stock linen, china, silver, and glassware ensuring they are polished and in good condition. Restock dining areas with condiments and forward any guest concerns to wait staff or supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned while adhering to Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines. This part-time role requires working at least 16 hours per week, often including flexible hours across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on union seniority.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Must display a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
- Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests
- Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments
- Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week
- Must be able to meet schedule requirements, which will most likely require working flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands
