Job Summary
Dining Room Server for residents responsible for hospitality-style dining service, assisting with food preparation and presentation under Chef direction, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation per health regulations, promoting wine and a la carte service, complying with provincial regulations and ORCA standards, and participating in emergency drills and safety education; works with Food and Beverage Manager and team to deliver quality resident experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Smart Serve designation OR Serve It Right (SIRS) designation (for Saskatchewan locations)
- one year experience in dining room service
- Safe Food Handling Certification preferred
- Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process an asset
- Proven customer service skills to work with residents of various cultural backgrounds
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills required
