Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, serve items, prepare checks, and sometimes accept payments during AM hours. Escort guests to tables, serve counter customers, set up and clear tables, and operate the cash register. Verify patron identification for alcohol purchase compliance and provide courteous service. Clear and reset tables, operate the P.O.S. system, and handle cashiering functions including closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork. Perform opening and closing procedures, maintain stocked and tidy side stands, and execute station rotation assignments. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and maintain required Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
