Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, serve items, prepare checks, and occasionally process payments during AM hours. Escort guests to tables, set up and clear surfaces, and operate the cash register while verifying patron identification for alcohol compliance. Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional service standard throughout the shift. Clear and reset tables as needed, ensure side stands remain stocked and tidy, and manage cashiering functions for closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork. Perform opening and closing procedures, side work duties, and other assigned tasks according to station rotation. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, Alcohol Awareness, and Food Handlers certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
