Job Summary
Server at Alvarado Street Brewery in Oldtown Salinas provides friendly, attentive service to create exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities include greeting guests, describing specials, taking and entering orders into the POS, delivering food and beverages, handling payments, maintaining clean service areas, assisting other servers and bussers, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong communication, teamwork, basic math, and a commitment to ServSafe food handling standards. Location is Salinas, California; in-person service is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and listening
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
- Valid Safe Food Handling certification (ServSafe)
