Job Summary
Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V. Implement automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet while managing OS-level security, hardening standards, and compliance. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents, perform capacity planning, and optimize performance through benchmarking and resource tuning. Maintain server hardware, BIOS configurations, firmware updates, and lifecycle maintenance. Monitor infrastructure health, manage backups, and uphold disaster recovery processes with accurate documentation. This Level 2 role requires 5+ years of experience and is based in Hyderabad.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration
- Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies
- Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Knowledge of server security, hardening, patch management, and compliance practices
- Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Understanding of server hardware, storage, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
