Job Summary
Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano is hiring a Server to greet guests, offer menu assistance, take orders, deliver food and beverages, present specials, handle payments, and contribute to a positive dining experience through warm, attentive service. Responsibilities include guest interaction, informing guests about ingredients and menu items, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of service, maintaining cleanliness, performing side work, and collaborating with team members to achieve guest satisfaction. Qualifications include at least 1 year of server experience in a table-service restaurant, alcohol certification, strong English communication, wine and spirit knowledge, stamina for hours on feet, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, basic bookkeeping, and proficiency with POS systems; flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Server in a table-service restaurant
- Valid alcohol certification
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Elevated knowledge of wine & spirits
- High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays
