Job Summary
Greet residents, make them feel welcome, and foster an environment where they can connect while dining. Prepp tables, salads, and silverware for successful meal service, then buss tables and sweep floors to maintain community tidiness. Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when observing poor dietary habits, unusual appetite changes, or resident absences. Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and provide support after falls. Work Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday shifts from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at Vitalia Mentor in Mentor, OH. This role requires standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- At least sixteen (16) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
