Job Summary
Greet residents, prepare dining tables, and maintain cleanliness during evening shifts from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Communicate with supervisors about dietary habits or unusual appetite changes, and assist residents with mobility needs including sitting, standing, and post-fall recovery. Buss tables, sweep floors, and roll silverware to ensure a welcoming environment where residents can connect. This part-time role at Curtis Creek Senior Living in Quincy, IL, requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, possess English proficiency at an 8th-grade level, and hold criminal clearance.
Required Qualifications
- At least sixteen (16) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
