Job Summary
Take food and drink orders from customers accurately, write orders on slips or enter them into computers, and engage patrons in a friendly manner while making menu suggestions. Ensure tables are enjoying their meals, correct any problems promptly, and collect payments by preparing checks that itemize costs and sales taxes. Help food preparation staff when necessary and deliver orders in a timely manner while working unsupervised. This role requires a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma and experience providing excellent customer service are desired.
