Job Summary
Greet guests, take beverage and food orders, and accurately enter orders into the POS system. Prepare food and beverages for service while ensuring stations remain clean and maintained throughout the shift. Serve residents and guests with accuracy in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, addressing concerns regarding food quality and service. Perform side-work, opening or closing duties, and participate in emergency drills as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook. This short-term, temporary position at Arcadia Retirement Residence on 15 Craigside offers $18.18 hourly pay for full-time staff working 12:00pm to 8:00pm, with availability required for any day of the week.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate preferred
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Use of computers
- Working knowledge of POS system
- Software applications to input and research data
- Ability to regularly stand
- Ability to regularly walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
- Ability to taste or smell
- Ability to occasionally stoop
- Ability to occasionally kneel
