Job Summary
Oversee daily campus security operations by scheduling officers, monitoring performance, and enforcing policies. Lead incident command during security-related events, conduct communication equipment testing, and report deficiencies to appropriate departments. Liaise with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies while partnering with cross-functional teams on staffing and training. Manage access control at the Saint Louis campus and participate in the Brewery-led Emergency Response team.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university
- 5 years supervisory experience for a POST certified law enforcement agency
- Ability to gain armed security officer license with St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department/ Saint Louis County PD
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience communicating with others in a public safety environment
- Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of emergency management and incident command principles
- Strong organizational skills
- Physically capable of responding quickly and appropriately to emergencies
- CPR/AED training-Red Cross Certified
- Defensive Tactics
- Must be available for weekend work
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed on short notice is required
