Job Summary
Provide virtual Serbo-Croatian language instruction to improve proficiency across Listening, Reading, and Speaking (DLPT/OPI/ACTFL), plus instruction on regional/cultural topics using blended-learning methods. Develop lesson plans, assess student work (ILR 0+–3), review/grade assignments, maintain a positive virtual learning environment, and collaborate with Site Lead/POI to address curriculum gaps. Requires US citizenship, native or near-native proficiency, experience teaching virtually, and access to required hardware and reliable internet. Desired familiarity with CL-150 or Blackboard and a Bachelor's degree. Location is remote with no travel.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Experience in providing various levels of foreign language instruction through a virtual environment
- Ability to access a Windows computer, webcam, headset, microphone, and reliable internet
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Knowledge of ILR levels and proficiency testing (ILR 0/0+ to 3)
- Experience with blended learning methods
- Ability to tailor materials to customer’s needs
