Job Summary
Front Desk Agent at Soaring Eagle Resort (Mt Pleasant, MI) handling guest check-in/check-out, answering questions about the hotel/casino and local area, booking/canceling reservations, balancing cash, and maintaining logs. Responsibilities include addressing guest concerns, upselling rooms, services, and amenities, processing mobility scooter sales when Concierge is unavailable, and delivering excellent guest service while adhering to the Four Service Drivers and SECR Core Values. Must maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; requires knowledge of hotel software and the ability to pass a 20 wpm typing test and obtain a gaming license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- One year customer service experience and cash handling experience
- Must be able to pass a typing test of at least 20 wpm
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position
