Job Summary
Project Manager for septic system installation overseeing planning, coordination, and execution of residential and commercial installations. Responsibilities include reviewing site plans and permits, developing schedules and budgets, coordinating with designers, engineers, and authorities, ordering materials, directing field crews, conducting on-site inspections, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining client communications. Requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to read blueprints and engineer drawings, and proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and oversight of field operations. CDL preferred but not required; OSHA certifications and heavy equipment experience are valued. Regular travel to job sites and ability to work outdoors are expected.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in septic system installation, civil construction, excavation, or related field
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
- Installer certification (preferred)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, trenchers) (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of septic system components, soil science basics, and installation methods
- Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and engineering drawings
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Regular travel to job sites within the service area
- Occasional extended hours based on project needs
