Job Summary
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using ESG data to develop and execute assurance procedures related to ESG attestation engagements. Evaluate organizations' processes and controls to support external reporting, applying analytical skills to complex technical accounting and GAAP impacts related to ESG. Assist in developing appropriate disclosures in accordance with approved ESG reporting standards and frameworks while contributing to multi-disciplinary projects. Support internal and external thought leadership by building client relationships and providing industry insight on ESG, including Greenhouse Gas reporting, quantification, and assurance. Participate in client meetings to assist in preparation of deliverables and reports, engaging in business development activities such as budget preparation and proposal assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education
- Working to obtain or have obtained all Canadian CPA required prerequisite courses
- Legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract
- Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
- Ability to share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
