Job Summary
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using ESG data and develop assurance procedures for ESG attestation engagements. Evaluate organizational processes and controls to support external reporting, while applying analytical skills to assess GAAP impacts related to ESG. Assist in developing disclosures in accordance with approved standards and contribute to complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving several simultaneous clients. Provide Greenhouse Gas reporting, quantification, and assurance services to clients across diverse industries, including broadcasters, banks, and energy companies. Participate in client meetings to prepare deliverables and reports, while supporting internal and external thought leadership on ESG and climate change issues. Engage in business development activities such as budget preparation and marketing services to new and existing clients.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education
- Working to obtain or have obtained all Canadian CPA required prerequisite courses
- Legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract
- Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
- Ability to share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
- You'll be comfortable traveling to cities across Canada (when deemed safe to do so by applicable public health or regulatory authorities and PwC)
- This role requires that you are legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract
