Job Summary
Senior Sr.AX Engineer to architect and implement Slack-based approval automation, 24/7 domain-aware agents, and a unified data layer to connect Slack, Confluence, M365, Jira, and other enterprise sources. Lead platform SDK/CLI and YAML workflow runtime to empower HR/IT/Finance/Legal to automate repetitive tasks, deliver scalable workflow apps in minutes, and enable AI agents to reason with sourced policy-based guidance. Drive cross-team automation culture by designing reusable tooling, data connectors, and an integrated data layer (OLAP + Vector DB + Graph DB) so that AI agents understand and act on organizational context. Responsibilities include (1) designing and implementing end-to-end approval routing inside Slack, (2) building domain agents that provide 24/7 self-answered guidance based on HR/IT/Finance/Legal policies, (3) building a unified data layer to connect disparate enterprise systems, (4) enabling non-developers to create workflow apps using platform SDK/CLI, (5) designing traffic of workflows so that user actions train subsequent agent decisions, (6) delivering a scalable, multi-tenant platform used by thousands daily.
Required Qualifications
- Back-end API design to Web UI implementation, 6+ years full-stack experience
- Slack API or similar messenger/bot development experience
- Production experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI)
- Experience implementing RAG or document-based Q&A systems
- Experience designing/implementing approval/workflow automation with state machines or multi-step routing
- Production experience in Python or TypeScript
- Active use and understanding of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex) in daily work
- Experience redesigning business processes into AI-based workflows
- Leading AX projects (defining problems and solving with tech)
- Platform-centric thinking making components reusable for others
- Experience collaborating with non-developer stakeholders to improve processes
- Genuine interest in building systems used by thousands daily
- Willingness to design tools allowing non-developers to build workflows
