Job Summary
SEO Team Lead responsible for growing and leading Seer’s SEO practice. Engage with C-level executives to articulate business impact beyond clicks, manage a book of client work, and drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling. Lead, mentor, and develop 4+ direct reports; participate in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting new team members to build the SEO team of tomorrow. Drive thought leadership by sharing knowledge on industry trends, tests, and trials, and leverage AI to improve workflows and client outcomes. Remote-first role with consideration for the HQ in Philadelphia; must be able to work in continental US hours. Essential skills include hands-on SEO across Content Strategy, Enterprise SEO, PR, Paid Media, and Analytics; superb client management; conflict resolution; and a proven track record of growing accounts and revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on SEO agency experience across Content Strategy, Enterprise SEO, PR, Paid Media, and/or Analytics
- Strong client management skills with experience communicating with C-level executives
- Proven leadership ability with 4+ direct reports
- Experience defining and growing an SEO team, including sourcing and interviewing new members
- Ability to drive thought leadership and share knowledge on industry trends, tests, and trials
- Experience leveraging AI to drive efficiencies and inform client strategy
