Job Summary

Analyze website data to inform SEO strategies and decision-making while developing and executing independent plans that ensure high-quality results. Collaborate with clients to understand goals and requirements, then communicate and coordinate strategies through routine updates and reports. Keep accurate time logs and task statuses using internal tracking systems while monitoring campaign performance to make necessary adjustments. Stay current with industry trends and algorithm updates, providing guidance to team members and optimizing site performance with content creators and web developers. Continuously track key metrics to demonstrate strategy effectiveness. Work 4 days in office in Nashville.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or professional experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in interpreting and analyzing website data to drive SEO strategies
  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and SEO best practices
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building techniques
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to effectively communicate and consult with clients regarding their website(s) and SEO requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to independently execute SEO strategies and deliver high-quality results
  • Proficient in using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.)
  • Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and see projects through each phase, from conception to completion, with minimal errors
  • Must be able to take ownership of all projects assigned and perform standard SEO tasks with minimal instruction
  • Must be able to proactively anticipate the effects of implemented strategies
  • This position will work 4 days in office in Nashville

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency setting
