Job Summary
Own organic search strategy and execution for a key B2B account, leading technical SEO audits, migrations, and redirect mapping while collaborating with developers. Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market assessments to build roadmaps balancing technical fixes, content, and authority building. Guide content teams on search intent and on-page optimization, then report rankings, traffic, and visibility as clear commercial insights for stakeholders. Monitor algorithm updates and adjust tactics to maintain presence in traditional SERPs and AI-driven search experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in an SEO-focused role, agency or in-house
- Strong technical SEO knowledge
- Proficiency with SEO and the already discussed toolset
- Confident communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing or contributing to website migrations
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of conversion rate optimisation principles: landing page structure, calls to action, user journey friction points
- Comfortable proposing simple A/B test hypotheses that sit alongside SEO recommendations
- Awareness of how content is surfaced in AI-driven search experiences (e.g. AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity) and how this differs from traditional SERP visibility
- Understanding of how structured data, clear entity signals, and authoritative content contribute to being cited or referenced by AI systems
- Experience across both B2B and consumer sectors
- Familiarity with international or multilingual SEO
- Basic understanding of paid search or wider complementary digital marketing channels
