SEO Executive

SEO Executive role within NEXT's Total Platform team, based at NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire. 60/40 split between copywriting and SEO, focusing on page optimisation, keyword research-driven content, and implementing wider organic strategy across a portfolio of brands. Responsibilities include creating high-quality on-brand content (editorials, on-page copy, category descriptions, metadata, and blogs), maintaining brand voice consistency, conducting keyword research and gap analysis, using SEO tools to improve content, building and maintaining a content optimisation roadmap, supporting link-building campaigns, onboarding new Total Platform clients, collaborating with internal writers and external agencies, and reporting progress to stakeholders. Requirements include proven SEO experience, excellent writing skills, experience with keyword research and competitor analysis, familiarity with tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console, and experience with ecommerce SEO. Desirable: international SEO experience and knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals. The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
