Job Summary
Forbes Advisor is seeking an SEO Executive to join the Marketplace SEO team and help grow the US-focused financial services content offering (credit cards, banking, loans, mortgages, investing). You will report to the SEO Manager for the Legal verticals, build editorial roadmaps, conduct in-depth keyword research, analyze competitors, optimize on-page elements (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, copy), develop content briefs, perform backlink analysis for outreach, assess schema and technical SEO opportunities, and monitor site performance, rankings, and conversions. The role requires hands-on experience with on-page and off-page SEO, proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, Google Analytics), familiarity with technical SEO (schema, canonicals, site speed), and comfort working with WordPress or other CMS. A strong candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to stay current with industry trends. Remote work is available in India, with a global team collaborating across the US, UK, and India.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of SEO experience
- Experience with on-page SEO including keyword research, competitive analysis, internal linking and content briefs
- Experience with off-page SEO, including outreach projects and sourcing relevant external web pages
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console (GSC) and Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of technical SEO elements such as schema, canonicals and site speed
- Knowledge and experience with WordPress and other CMS
