Job Summary
Own Infinum's SEO, GEO, and AEO strategy across US, UK, and Western Europe markets by researching buyer queries, entities, and prompts to build a content roadmap. Execute off-page tactics including digital PR, guest posts on tier-1 publications, podcast placements, broken link building, and unlinked brand mention reclamation to establish a backlink profile worthy of a 20-year-old consultancy. Audit and clean the existing link profile, disavow harmful links, and protect the domain while working with writers to bake optimization best practices into editorial assets designed for citation. Partner with performance marketing, social, and design teams to align schema, page structure, and visuals for discoverability, then track rankings, traffic, AI citations, and conversions to iterate. Define consistent messaging and proof points across website, social, paid, organic, PR, and AI model outputs.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience
- Experience ideally in B2B tech, software, or a digital agency
- A proven track record of earning high-quality backlinks through content, digital PR, or outreach
- Understanding that backlinks are earned, not bought, exchanged, or gamed
- A real understanding of how generative engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews) pick and cite sources
- A working playbook for how generative engines pick and cite sources
- Comfort with technical SEO basics: site architecture, schema, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, log analysis
- Fluency with the tooling - Ahrefs, Semrush, GSC, GA4
- Fluency with AI visibility trackers (Profound, Peec, Otterly, or equivalent trusted tools)
- A strategist's brain and a writer's hands
- Ability to both build the plan and produce the work
