SEO & AI Search Marketing Intern

Job Summary
Run keyword research to build topic clusters and content roadmaps while tracking visibility across Google, AI Overviews, and major generative assistants. Analyze rankings and citations to figure out what drives AI assistants to cite a company, then apply those insights to on-page optimization and technical SEO audits. Support backlink outreach and digital PR across HR tech publications, using AI tools to accelerate research and reporting. Own real projects that measure business impact, producing a full audit and keyword strategy for a real iPaaS company. Work directly with the VP of Marketing and SEO Specialist in a fully remote team, bringing independent ideas to shape the emerging Generative Engine Optimization field.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution for the full duration of the internship
- Hold active student status from start date through final day
- Graduating partway through the term makes you ineligible
- Physically located in Canada for the full duration of the internship
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or something adjacent
