Job Summary

Execute delegated authority for assigned threads within the Sentinel Ground Systems, acting as the primary delegate for technical leads and overseeing all systems engineering products. Become a subject matter expert with end-to-end understanding of facility-specific requirements, crew protections, and construction criteria while managing architecture, interface definitions, and trade studies. Lead verification planning and execution, author requirement verification reports, and coordinate with program leadership and stakeholders to ensure high-quality technical baselines. Brief customers at program and technical reviews, establish working group coordination sessions, and engage in formal mentoring to support knowledge transfer and talent development.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period
  • 4 years of experience with ICBM programs (MMIII or Sentinel) or complex aerospace/defense systems
  • 3 years of experience leading teams in a collaborative environment
  • 2 years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining system-performance documentation
  • U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period

Desired Qualifications

  • Large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production
  • Experience with implementing and using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, practices, and methods
  • Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
